Glass Labyrinth by Robert Morris

A pyramid shaped, glass walled labyrinth created by Robert Morris has been installed in the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. The work is commissioned by the museum to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the sculpture park.

Here is the museum description of the work by the Kansas City native artist: “In form and material this labyrinth is a departure from the more familiar circular and rectangular labyrinths of old. Triangulated and constructed of glass plate walls capped with bronze, it speaks to the present in the language of modern architecture and design–streamlined, dynamic, transparent, and elegant.
